Service to others often results in missing memorable moments with those around us. The details are simple and seamless in which you qualify for the "Big Land" experience. You either served others as a law enforcement officer, through military service, as a nurse, doctor, paramedic, firefighter, or other first responder or you are a part of the disabled community. You gave for your passion. The cost is a promise that you spread the ideas consistent with the 10-7 at Big Land's mission statement, “If we all give what we are able, the world becomes a better place.”

Come Visit and SPLASH!
Activities year round are available to our guests when staying at 10-7 at Big Land. You have access to boat dock to launch your boat or feel free to take a kayak or canoe out for fishing or to relax. Our vacationers with boats can visit Sharks Tooth Island as well as other hot spots throughout the Nomini Creek and Chesapeke Bay. For fishing please make sure you follow all Virginia State laws regarding the purchase and use of a legal fishing license. Please see links below or contact us with questions.
Adventures
10-7 at Big Land is a place to enjoy the adventures of the outdoors. With more than 200 acres we currently offer campsites at our Lt. Murphy Lot as well as Eagle's Landing. We are excited to have tiny theme cabins, a community center/wedding venue and an outdoor kitchen in the works! We just completed the process of our first TRAIN CABOOSE relocation adventure! And boy was that a learning experience!
Thanks to our Military Veteran Motocross/Enduro club volunteers we have 7 miles of beautiful (tough) trails throughout the forest. Offering a great place for motocross, mountain biking, hiking and wildlife viewing.

Camping
Escape to the Lt. Murphy Lot for an unforgettable camping experience! Enjoy the convenience of our outdoor kitchen and propane grills, perfect for preparing delicious meals under the stars. Gather the large community fire pit in the evenings, where stories are shared and memories are made. Plus, with access to stunning hiking and biking trails, and located off the beautiful Nomini Creek and Templemans Run, adventure awaits just outside your doorstep!

We understand that not everyone has had the opportunity to power down and enjoy a natural setting. We stand ready to adapt our program and amenities to ensure the pursuit of amazing moments. That is why we are so excited to announce the incoming Train Caboose "tiny home"! The tracks are laid and the caboose is in place. We are turning this beauty into a themed stay for our customers FREE! Follow our upcoming Blog for all the moments leading up to the private purchase, the bloopers and the amazing adventure getting our first caboose into place!
